In order to fix the problem, remove the cartridge, power the printer off and remove the power cable. Using a cloth dampened with alcohol clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges as well as the carriage where the cartridges sit. Wait several minutes, insert the cartridges back and start the printer. If the issue persists, I recommend you insert the old cartridge. If you don't receive the error anymore, it means that your new cartridge are defective and you will need to contact the supplier. If you still receive the error, you will need to visit a local HP service center. Contact HP support team if you still need assistance.
